Baseball Preview: Erie Tigers vs. Holy Family Tigers
The Erie Tigers are on the road again on Wednesday to play the Holy Family Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Erie got the win against Horizon by a conclusive 15-7. With that win, Erie brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Back at the plate, Holy Family got a massive performance out of Xavier Vega, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base. Isaiah Sandoval was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Erie's record now sits at 10-11. As for Holy Family, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Erie has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Holy Family struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.4. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
