Marshwood had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Cheverus Stags. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Tyler Hussey and Ronan Garrett made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Hussey didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Garrett tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hussey has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. At bat, Hussey went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI, while Garrett went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Garrett has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Silas Reimels was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Evin Aceto also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Marshwood pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cheverus, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
