Softball Recap: Holden Has No Trouble Against Choudrant

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Holden walked away with it. They blew past the Choudrant Aggies 10-4 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Holden has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-15 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.7 runs. As for Choudrant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-15.

Looking ahead, Holden is taking a road trip to square off against Quitman at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Rockets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Choudrant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
