Softball Preview: Rimrock Raiders vs. Glenns Ferry Pilots
The Rimrock Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Glenns Ferry Pilots at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rimrock comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Rimrock couldn't beat Notus on Monday even though they stacked ten runs on them in the fourth inning. The Raiders came up short against the Pirates, falling 21-11. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly ten runs.
Meanwhile, Glenns Ferry came up short against Melba on Tuesday and fell 7-4.
Taylor Martinez put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances.
