Baseball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

The Mountain View Mountain Lions came up short against the Mullen Mustangs on Wednesday and fell 5-2.

Mountain View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Gilbert, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Mountain View now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Mullen, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.

Mountain View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Wellington on the 24th. As for Mullen, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Cherry Creek on the 26th.
