Bosque came into Saturday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Zuni Thunderbirds by a score of 8-4 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Thunderbirds on Saturday, they had to take a 10-8 loss.

The team relied heavily on Luca Kalishman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tas Lupo, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Bosque's win bumped their record up to 3-17. As for Zuni, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bosque will face off against Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering the Bobcats have lost three straight at home and the Hornets four straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. As for Zuni, they will square off against Navajo Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
