Softball Recap: Christopher Cougars vs. Pioneer Mustangs        
        
		
            
 Christopher scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They blew past the Pioneer Mustangs 13-2. Christopher might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six contests by six  runs or more this season.
  Danielle Keller looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit.
 At the plate,  Melissa Lugo was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Alyssa Farrow, who  went 2-for-2 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.
 On Pioneer's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Saya Fujii, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Christopher and  bumps their season record up to 6-9. As for Pioneer, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-1.
 Christopher will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Silver Creek at 4:00  p.m. Christopher will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last. As for Pioneer, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Lincoln at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Pioneer is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.6  runs per game  this season.
