Baseball Recap: Faribault Takes a Loss

Faribault was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winona Winhawks. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 10-3 to the Winhawks when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Faribault's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Winona, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Coming up, Faribault will take on Albert Lea at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Winona, they have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 loss against Red Wing on the 16th.
