Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Olpe). They blew past the Burlingame Bearcats 62-31 on Thursday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Bearcats are ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Olpe is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season. As for Burlingame, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Olpe has already played their next contest, a 48-34 win against Madison/Hamilton on the 23rd. As for Burlingame, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-55 defeat against Marais des Cygnes Valley on the 23rd.
