Football Recap: Chancellor Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chancellor extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They lost 34-14 to the Caroline Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 56-28 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Nate Newton threw for 127 yards on 15 of 22 attempts. Damontrel Williams was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards.

As for Caroline, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

It was another big night for Blake Morris, who rushed for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 184 yards and three TDs. Caroline's leading receiver Blair Morris was Blake's top target yet again, picking up 93 receiving yards and one score.

Chancellor wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 47-18 defeat against Courtland on the 3rd. As for Caroline, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-7 victory against James Monroe on the 3rd.
