Basketball Recap: Reading Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

If Litchfield wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Reading, they should've done a better job of containing Aubree Ervans. The Reading Rangers breezed by the Litchfield Terriers to the tune of 56-13 on Tuesday thanks in part to Ervans, who went 6 of 10 en route to 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. Her evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Headley, who posted ten points. Those ten points gave her a new career-high.

Reading is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Litchfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Reading wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 42-33 loss against Bronson on the 30th. Litchfield has also already played their next game (against Camden-Frontier), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
