Softball Recap: Cinco Ranch Cougars vs. Morton Ranch Mavericks
Cinco Ranch got themselves on the board against Morton Ranch on Tuesday, but Morton Ranch never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Mavericks. The Cougars not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th (when they won 17-2).

Gaby Perez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Sophie Hassall was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
