Southeast Career Tech faced Desert Oasis in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Roadrunners walked away with a 2-0 win over the Diamondbacks. The victory was nothing new for the Roadrunners as they're now sitting on three straight.

Mikaela Fellows paced Southeast Career Tech's offense, picking up nine kills. Fellows got some help from Ashlyn Winans and her 12 assists. Nataniela Gil controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Desert Oasis' loss came despite strong showings from MacKenzie Dalton and Riana Morales Imura. Dalton had 13 digs, while Morales Imura had ten assists and four digs. Madalynn Tobiasson also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Southeast Career Tech's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Desert Oasis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Southeast Career Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Green Valley on the 16th. As for Desert Oasis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Centennial on the 19th.
