Basketball Recap: San Juan Hills Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Adam Aziz and Mason Hodges

If San Juan Hills was feeling good fresh off their 68-33 takedown of Dana Hills on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The San Juan Hills Stallions received a blow on Saturday as they fell 71-52 to the Damien Spartans.

Despite the loss, San Juan Hills had strong showings from Mason Hodges, who went 11 of 20 en route to 28 points along with eight boards and five assists, and Adam Aziz, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 19 points. Hodges' morning made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

San Juan Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Damien, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

San Juan Hills will venture away from home to face off against Dana Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. San Juan Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.2 points per game this season. As for Damien, they will challenge Chino Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
