Softball Recap: New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Takes a Loss

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy fell victim to Fisher and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Fisher Gators, falling 18-0. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy fell to 2-1. As for Fisher, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy will take on St. Mary's Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Mary's Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy likes a good challenge. As for Fisher, they will welcome Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
