Grandview had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fairfield Eagles a 12-0 shutout on Saturday. The Zebras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 22 games by seven runs or more this season.

Grandview is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Fairfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5-1.
