Basketball Recap: Bozeman Takes a Loss

Bozeman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 43-8 loss at the hands of the Chipley Tigers. The Bucks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in February of 2021.

Sarayah Hogan was her usual excellent self, putting up 13 points and eight rebounds for Chipley. Another player making a difference was Chelsea Corbin, who posted seven points and five steals.

Bozeman's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Chipley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bozeman will head out to square off against Arnold at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chipley, they will head out on the road to challenge Mosley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mosley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 178 points over their last three matchups.
