Basketball Recap: Andes Central/Dakota Christian's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

Andes Central/Dakota Christian won the last time they faced Kimball/White Lake and things went their way on Thursday too. Andes Central/Dakota Christian walked away with a 48-38 victory over the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats. Given Andes Central/Dakota Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Kimball/White Lake is ranked 109th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Andes Central/Dakota Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Kimball/White Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
