Baseball Game Preview: Harriton Rams vs. Penncrest Lions

Harriton is 2-8 against Penncrest since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Harriton Rams will welcome the Penncrest Lions at 4:00 p.m.

Harriton is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 12-2 to Oxford.

Harriton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calvin Costello, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Penncrest had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Episcopal Academy on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-4.

Will O'Donnell looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Asher Wynne was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

Harriton might still be hurting after the 9-3 defeat they got from Penncrest when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Harriton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
