Basketball Preview: Burton Adventist Academy Angels vs. Heritage Christian Academy Lions

Heritage Christian Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Burton Adventist Academy, who comes in off a win.
Burton Adventist Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They snuck past St. Paul's Prep with a 66-61 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Burton Adventist Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jadon Henderson led the charge by scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Henderson hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Diego Bracho was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight defeat. They took a 64-45 bruising from Burton Adventist Academy.
Defeat or not, Heritage Christian Academy got some senior leadership from Jabin Carter and Timothy Reyes. Carter scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Reyes. scored eight points along with four steals. Reyes is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Hicks, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Burton Adventist Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-10. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
