Basketball Recap: Cabrini Takes a Loss

Cabrini suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2024 on Wednesday. They were dealt a 63-19 defeat at the hands of the Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Crescents can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while the Cardinals are ranked 92nd).

Cabrini's loss dropped their record down to 9-20-1. As for Academy of the Sacred Heart, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
