Homestead had already won 16 in a row and they went ahead and made it 17 on Monday. Everything went their way against the Woodlan Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-18.

Leading Homestead to victory were Harrison Talarico and Hudson Mulhall. Talarico had ten digs and three aces, while Mulhall had six digs. Those six digs gave Mulhall a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Homestead was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.

Homestead's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-2. As for Woodlan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homestead will take on New Haven at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodlan, they will square off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
