Basketball Game Preview: Spencer Greenwave vs. Columbus Blue Devils

The Spencer Greenwave will challenge the Columbus Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spencer has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Spencer is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 87-10 victory over Kendrick. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-7.

Alexandria Berk continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played. Tiana Johnson was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

Spencer was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Columbus came up short against Carver on Monday and fell 69-59.

The win got Spencer back to even at 11-11. As for Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Spencer strolled past Columbus when the teams last played back in January by a score of 54-40. Will Spencer repeat their success, or does Columbus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
