Basketball Recap: Bronson Comes Up Short

The Bronson Vikings came up short against the Buchanan Bucks on Friday and fell 53-43.

When it comes to explaining why Bronson lost, don't look at Zeb Olson. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards. Olson is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Layne Arver was another key player, putting up eight points.

Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Buchanan, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Bronson will square off against Reading at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Buchanan, they will face off against Edwardsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
