Branford won the last time they faced Dixie County and Anthony Washington did his part to make sure it happened again. The Buccaneers strolled past the Bears with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 91-72 with plenty of help from Washington, who almost dropped a double-double with 42 points and nine rebounds. His big performance that evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points.

Another player making a difference was Anthony Bailey, who posted 15 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Branford's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Dixie County, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Branford will venture away from home to square off against Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dixie County, they will head out to challenge Trenton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.
