Softball Recap: Warren County Extends Road Winning Streak to Ten

Warren County got themselves on the board against Wilson Prep on Thursday, but Wilson Prep never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Tigers. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Warren County got a massive performance out of Iyauna Harley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Harley a new career-high. Kimaya Rudd was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Warren County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .692. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Warren County pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.6 runs over those games. As for Wilson Prep, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
