Football Recap: Hastings Piles Up the Points Against Woodlands

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hastings). They claimed a resounding 43-0 victory over the Woodlands Falcons. The Yellow Jackets haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Hastings now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Woodlands, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hastings will take on rival Hendrick Hudson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woodlands is set to challenge their familiar foe Briarcliff/Hamilton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
