Football Recap: Mendota Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Mendota had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost to the Golden Valley Cougars on the road by a 24-6 margin. If the Aztecs were looking for revenge after losing 18-6 to the Cougars when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mendota will square off against Madera at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Golden Valley, they will face off against Hilmar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
