Football Recap: Delta Skates Past Rawlins with Ease + How To Watch

Delta never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rawlins Outlaws 58-0. That looming 58-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Deacon Shean continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 171 receiving yards and four TDs. Those four receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Delta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jp Gallegos and TE/LB Morfitt. Morfitt got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Delta's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points over those games. As for Rawlins, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delta will challenge Alamosa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rawlins, they will take on Buffalo at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Outlaws will be up against the Bison's rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
