Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. Washington fell 2-0 to East Moline United. If Washington was looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to East Moline United when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Washington and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will face off against Peoria Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Moline United, they will square off against Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Moline United is facing Sterling at the right time seeing as Sterling is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
