The Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They managed a 58-53 win over Lowpoint-Washburn. That's another feather in the cap for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Lowpoint-Washburn lost, one person who can't be blamed is Baylor Steffen. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with four steals. Steffen hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kody Knecht, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
