Recap: Burlington City Blue Devils vs. Westampton Tech Panthers
The Burlington City Blue Devils couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They suffered a tough 67-41 loss at the hands of Westampton Tech on Thursday. Burlington City lost against Westampton Tech in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 63-49 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westampton Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karl Hunter, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Alexander Jeanty was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five assists.
Burlington City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Westampton Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Burlington City will be home for the holidays to greet Pitman at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Westampton Tech will take on Eastern in a holiday battle at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at.
