Baseball Recap: St. Cloud Comes Up Short

After flying high against Osceola on Wednesday, St. Cloud came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Harmony Longhorns on Friday, falling 8-1. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Longhorns earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Nathan Bianco made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

St. Cloud's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Harmony, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

St. Cloud will welcome Poinciana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harmony, they are taking a road trip to challenge Winter Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
