East Carteret never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed past the Pamlico County Hurricanes to the tune of 35-0. Considering the Mariners have won five games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

East Carteret's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke McIntosh, who threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. That's the most passing yards McIntosh has posted since back in October of 2024. 148 of McIntosh's passing yards were hauled in by Jackson Greene, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

East Carteret pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.0 points over those games. As for Pamlico County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

As of now, neither East Carteret nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
