Bear River has gone 3-0 against Grantsville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bear River Bears will venture away from home to face off against the Grantsville Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. Bear River is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Bear River was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 56-52 to Sky View.

Meanwhile, everything went Grantsville's way against Summit Academy on Saturday as Grantsville made off with a 70-50 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

Grantsville's win came from a few key players Bear River will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bryson Roberts, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Sparks, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Grantsville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Grantsville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for Bear River, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Bear River beat Grantsville 63-56 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bear River since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
