Volleyball Recap: Coal Ridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Coal Ridge lost against Mullen back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans fell 2-0 to the Mustangs.

While Coal Ridge ultimately came up short, they really made Mullen work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 28-26.

Ava Harlow paced Coal Ridge's offense, picking up nine kills. Harlow got some help from Austin Jensen and her 13 assists. Samantha Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Coal Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mullen, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Coal Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Rifle at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mullen, they will face off against Steamboat Springs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
