Scarsdale dropped down to 3-2 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Clarkstown South Vikings, falling 12-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Raiders, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Scarsdale saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bret Hole, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

As for Clarkstown South, their record now sits at 5-2. They haven't had any issues with Scarsdale recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

On Clarkstown South's side, Jackson Prinz spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, Jake Lipson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Danny Romeo was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with four RBI and one run.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Scarsdale will face off against Port Chester at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarkstown South, they will square off against Tappan Zee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Dutchmen have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
