Volleyball Recap: Clarke Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Clarke Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Banks County Leopards. The Gladiators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Leopards apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

Clarke Central was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 16 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16.

Clarke Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Banks County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Clarke Central will face off against Morgan County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Banks County, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Stephens County on the 4th.
