Baseball Recap: Encinal Jets vs. Campolindo Cougars

Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in March.
Oskar Jones made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Eric Proctor, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
This is the second loss in a row for Encinal and nudges their season record down to 17-10. As for Campolindo, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.
Encinal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Campolindo, they will take on Acalanes at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Dons' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Cougars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
