Football Recap: Fairview Finds Playoff Glory Versus Arab + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Fairview walked away with it. They beat the Arab Knights on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-7. Given the Aggies' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Knights are ranked 173rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jake Harper was his usual excellent self, rushing for 135 yards and one score while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.

Harper was just one part of a punishing run game: Fairview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 203 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arab only rushed for 82.

The victory keeps Fairview at an undefeated 11-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 36.3 points this season. As for Arab, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Coming up, Fairview will challenge Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. Arab does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
