Union Springs is a perfect 10-0 against Moravia since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wolves will square off against the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Union Springs came out on top against Marathon on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Wolves walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Olympians. The Wolves' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Charlie Parker, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Parker is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Smith, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moravia). Everything went their way against Southern Cayuga on Monday as they made off with a 29-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won four in a row.
Carson Andrews was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Andrews was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.
In other batting news, Moravia got a massive performance out of Hayden Walker, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. Those doubles were Walker's first of the season. Noah Corbett was another key player, going 4-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
Moravia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .586 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Union Springs' record is now 3-0. As for Moravia, their record now sits at 5-0.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Union Springs has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Moravia struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Union Springs' way against Moravia in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Union Springs made off with an 18-3 victory. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
