Basketball Game Preview: Rogers Mountaineers vs. Har-Ber Wildcats

Rogers hasn't had much luck against Har-Ber recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rogers Mountaineers will head out to take on the Har-Ber Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Har-Ber took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Rogers, who comes in off a win.

Rogers is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest win since December 20, 2024 on Friday. Everything went their way against Rogers Heritage as Rogers made off with a 54-31 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Mountaineers have posted against the War Eagles since February 22, 2019.

Meanwhile, Har-Ber faced Springdale in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Har-Ber took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Springdale. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rogers' victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13. As for Har-Ber, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

Rogers took a serious blow against Har-Ber in their previous meeting back in January, falling 74-33. Can Rogers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
