Muscle Shoals (Ala.) upset
Hartselle (Ala.) 49-21 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Nance touchdown run in the first quarter, the Trojans led 28-7 at the half.
Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 21 entering the fourth.
D'andre Tvlack played well for the Tigers. He ran for one touchdown.
Muscle Shoals' most effective player was Jackson. He caught two touchdowns.
Hartselle came in surrendering 12.0 points per game this season. HHS struggled against MS, which came in averaging 19.8 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Hartselle, which notched a 28-6 victory over Wenonah in its previous outing. The loss snapped the Tigers' 2-game winning streak.
