If St. Joseph Central Catholic wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Gibsonburg, they should've done a better job of containing Reece Walby. The Gibsonburg Golden Bears claimed a resounding 78-24 win over the St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks thanks in part to Walby, who went 7 of 12 en route to 18 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Senters, who posted ten points and seven boards. What's more, he also posted a 80% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in January of 2024.

Gibsonburg's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for St. Joseph Central Catholic, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-19.

Looking ahead, Gibsonburg will head out to face off against Danbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gibsonburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.9 points per game this season. As for St. Joseph Central Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hopewell-Loudon at 7:00 p.m.
