Hanover is a perfect 5-0 against Laconia since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Marauders will face off against the Sachems at 4:30 p.m. Hanover is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

Hanover easily dispatched Milford on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Marauders fell just short of Pembroke by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Marauders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Laconia didn't have quite enough to beat Lebanon on Monday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Sachems in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost five in a row.

Hanover's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Laconia, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything went Hanover's way against Laconia in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Hanover made off with a 19-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Marauders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
