Softball Recap: Arlington Heights Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Arlington Heights's offense. They came up short against the South Hills Scorpions on Thursday, falling 15-0. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Scorpions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Arlington Heights' loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for South Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-16-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Arlington Heights is set to face off against their familiar foe Trimble Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Hills will challenge rival Wyatt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
