Thomas Jefferson is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Northfield just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Nighthawks, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Thomas Jefferson's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Denver North entered their tilt with Rangeview on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Raiders a 9-0 shutout. Considering Denver North have won six matchups by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Rangeview with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Pearl Phillips (3), Iveth Loya-Frias (2), Alexa Saenz (2), and Helen Deming (2).

Denver North pushed their record up to 8-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five contests. As for Thomas Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
