Volleyball Recap: McAllen Memorial Takes a Loss

McAllen Memorial was the 2-1 winner over Churchill when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Ana Davila paced McAllen Memorial's offense, picking up eight kills. Davila got some help from Lylah Lopez-Castillo and her 14 assists. Natalia Rangel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

McAllen Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Churchill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3.

McAllen Memorial has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Rowe on the 26th. As for Churchill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Clemens on the 26th.
