Softball Recap: Hicksville Comes Up Short

Hicksville was the 11-10 winner over Archbold when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Aces fell 6-2 to the Blue Streaks on Saturday. The Aces have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hicksville's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Archbold, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Hicksville will be playing in front of their home fans against Wayne Trace at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archbold, they are taking a road trip to challenge Eastwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Streaks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
