Softball Recap: Charlotte Comes Up Short

Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-3 to the Leslie Blackhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-17 on April 1st.

Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Leslie, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Coincidentally, Charlotte and Leslie will both be playing Pinckney the next time they take the field. The Orioles will host the Pirates at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Blackhawks will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
